Emu Reflections, Carnarvon Gorge

Carnarvon Gorge, siting on Nguri Country, is a remarkable spring fed gorge, lush with tropical and temperate flora and fauna, surrounded by the flat endless plains of the Darling Downs. A burial ground for the indigenous people of the region, the pinks and ochres of their artwork and the fabulous emus we sited inspired this work.
