QVB, Easter Morning

Between the lockdowns of Alpha in 2020 and the lockdowns of Delta in 2021, Sydney moved tentatively, and I was obsessed with this strange new rhythm. Easter morning was like a rebirth, slow at first, but the square eventually filled with people. Moving awkwardly, shy of being out again, many were curious to see what I was drawing, and the woman in red was thrilled when she found out she was part of the scene.
