Paintings

What medium are your paintings and pastels?

My pastel artworks are developed using soft pastels on special archival ground paper. Acrylic paintings use archival acrylic paints and are painted on board. All works use archival materials. Further details are listed alongside each piece.

Are your artworks framed?

Some of my pastels are framed and these prices will include framing. If they are framed, I cannot ship glass, so they will have to be picked up in person within the Sydney area. Some of my pastel artworks are sold unframed and will require framing under glass for protection. Selling them unframed allows you to work with your framer to choose the right frame for your situation and taste.

Can I see the painting I am interested in before purchasing?

If you live or are travelling through Sydney, and I am available, I would be happy to show you the work in person. Please email me to let me know if you are interested in doing this and we can arrange a mutually convenient time. Otherwise please keep an eye out for my next exhibition by clicking here.

My favourite painting has sold – how can I be sure to know about new work?

Pieces may sell quickly. Make sure you join my mailing list to find out about my next exhibition before it is added to my website. You can also follow my studio progress on Instagram or Facebookto see work coming up.

How will my painting be wrapped?

It depends on size, but artwork will be carefully packed to protect it. Each one is unique so I take care that is well protected to arrive its original condition. For further details about delivery please see Purchasing and Shipping Policy.

Do you do special commissions

Currently I’m not taking on any new commissions, as I’m working on a new body of work. If you like my style then one of those may be the one for you!

Prints

What is a print?

An print is a high quality reproduction of an original artwork; the print is so fine you can’t see the printed dots with the naked eye. All prints are sold from originals which I own. If you buy an original work of art from me, I will never also sell it as a print.

How are the prints made?

A high resolution scan of the original work is taken and carefully colour adjusted to ensure the optimum colour match. The prints are giclee prints made at a specialist printer using aqueous archival inks on 100% cotton rag 310 gsm textured archival, acid free paper.

Do you make prints of all your paintings?

No. I will never make a print of an original painting I sell. The prints are of works owned by me from my collection. I have chosen ones to print which I particularly like.

Can I order a print in different sizes?

My prints are printed in two different image sizes, A4 and A3. The paper is then cut with a 2cm border around the A4 or A3 image. This allows flexibility in framing and mounting. Or just pin them up on your wall! Prints do not need to be framed under glass.

Will my print be framed?

Because of the difficulty of shipping glass I don’t sell framed prints.

How will my print be wrapped?

Each print will be carefully rolled into a strong mailing tube for best protection in transit.  For further details about delivery please see the Shipping details.
