Ku-ring-gai Art Centre

Course Description

This is an introductory workshop on the techniques of using pastels, an exciting and sometimes underrated medium that is both painting and drawing. Technological progress in colours and papers in the last few decades has made this a contemporary and versatile medium, perfect for landscapes, and really comes into its own when travelling or working en plein air. We will use a landscape photograph to work from for this workshop, but this will equip you to begin your own journey with the medium, outdoors and with other genres.

February 26 2023, 9am – 3pm
